The ACT LAN Interface is a device allowing ACT Controllers
(ACT2000 or ACT1000) to be connected directly to the Local Area Network.
This is an ideal solution when the controllers are in a remote area as
it avoids the cost of running long cables directly from the PC to the
controllers. The device is easy to set-up and configure. Up to 32
controllers (ACT2000 or ACT1000) can be connected to a single LAN
interface via the ACT Single Channel RS-485 interface. The unit is
supplied with cables for connecting to a controller and RS-485 interface
The PC must be running ACTWinPro or ACTWinPro Lite

The Single Line RS-485 Interface is a low-cost solution for
networking multiple ACT Controllers. Up to 32 controllers (ACT2000 or
ACT1000) can be connected on a single 1.4km RS-485 line. This device can
also be connected to a modem or ACT LAN interface to allow remote access
to a large number of controllers. A cable is provided for connection
directly to PC COM port The unit requires +12V DC
The ACT 56k Modem allows access to ACT controllers (ACT2000 and
ACT1000) over the telephone line. ACTWinPro can configure and monitor
sites many miles away from the PC. This modem must be used at both the
controller end and the PC end. The modem comes with pre-configured for
ACT Controller operation and with cables for connecting to the
controller. The modem may also be connected to a RS-485 interface to
control more than one controller. Software is also provided to allow
easy installation at the PC.
